SR Redirected

REMINDER TO HOSTEES: Register on the forums!

You may have noticed that I’ve redirected S-R to this domain, basically I’m putting my focus into this website, so to save me updated two websites whenever something major happens it’ll just be the one.
The recent server move with dreamhost has now got rid of my option to limit disk space usage on my hostees so great news your all on unlimited space (so to speak)! Don’t go overboard :) .

Recently posted about looking for a Reseller host to get access to cpanel or something similar so domain hostees could have access, removed the post generally because I was getting endless spam comments (yay for akismet) and my post was turning up on webhosting blogs all over the place. It’s still being considered but with the price, service, uptime and whatever else I have to look for I’m not sure I can be bothered with the hassle of it all. See so many reviews on certain hosts some are good and some are bad so you generally don’t know what to believe.

If I do decide to move hosts in the end, I will be moving all accounts from S-R to D-P (sorry guys) which will mean changes to subdomains and having to back up all your files. BUT I haven’t decided yet so you don’t need to worry for the moment.

Finally Done

Got the theme up for the website at last, haven’t done a theme for the forums as of yet but for now I have just downloaded one to make it look pretty. The forums are up and running I will be checking them daily so please register if you have any questions. I require all hostees to register on the forums.

Due to so much spam coming through the contact form, I’ve downloaded a new plugin with Captcha and Akismet so that should hopefully filter out the spam a great deal. If you are having problems using the contact form, please just use one of the email addresses on the contact page, both are checked daily.

Also due to security issues with one account on Sacred-Reverie.Net I’ve changed all accounts over to Shell FTP which I have set up a guide for some FTP clients on how to change your server type to make this work, so please check that out if you are having trouble.

I would prefer hostees to use the secure webmail as well. It may come up with an error the first time you access it but I have contacted Dreamhost about it and they have said to ignore it and carry on.
